Notes about the author

Dena has been a survival swim instructor in Connecticut for over 15 years. Yet she felt compelled to do more. Given the geographic limitations of her ability to spread the word about the importance of these life-saving lessons, she decided that a book which would appeal to children and their parents would be the best way to spread the word. Given that there are Infant Aquatics Instructors throughout the country, her hope is that someone in another state sees her book, shares it with their children, and then takes lessons from a local instructor.

DROWNING is Preventable!! Survival swimming lessons save lives. They are NOT like traditional lessons. These lessons teach children as young as 6 months old how to RESCUE THEMSELVES in an aquatic emergency.
